** Data Center Field Service Engineer
** to join our team supporting our commercial customers!
* You can be

** in the Continental United States for this incredible role!
* As a
** Data Center Field Service Engineer** , you will be a senior level team member of the Trane Data Center Services Team.  In this role, you will be responsible for:·      
* Travel to and support data center cooling infrastructure across North America, with a primary focus on data center startup, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and emergency response activities.
* Diagnose and repair complex HVAC and chiller systems, including air-cooled and water-cooled equipment.
* Support field activities involving screw and centrifugal compressor technologies.
* Respond to critical service events, equipment failures, and customer emergency situations in a timely and professional manner.
* Please note that this role will require 75% plus travel. Travel is typically contained within the United States but can include international travel.

** What you’ll be doing:*
* * Support customer operations teams during planned deployments and active service assignments.
* Assist with system performance evaluations, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement efforts.
* Maintain complete, accurate, and timely service records, field reports, and related documentation.
* Follow all company safety policies, customer site requirements, and regulatory standards.
* Maintain professional and effective communication with customers, contractors, project teams, and internal stakeholders.
* Travel extensively throughout North America based on business needs, project requirements, and customer demand.
* Perform startup, troubleshooting, repair, and operational support for Data Center cooling equipment.
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues affecting chiller and cooling system performance.
* Support emergency response activities during equipment failures and critical service events.
* Verify proper system operation following maintenance, repair, and service activities.
* Execute preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
** What we are looking for:
*** 5+ years of experience in the HVAC industry, with experience in mission-critical, large-tonnage, or complex chiller environments.
