On-Site (5 days). This is an on-site position (5-days per week) at our Trane Technologies HQ campus in Davidson, NC. This will be a 1st Shift position.
What You Will Do:- Work safely and maintain a safe work area in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Support product development activities by operating commercial HVAC equipment, controlling test facilities, and collecting and reviewing experimental test data
- Independently install, modify, and build developmental commercial HVAC equipment and components, following engineering, agency, and test requirements
- Work with Test Engineering and other Technicians to install and utilize laboratory test equipment including data acquisition systems, power analyzers, flow equipment, pressure, and temperature measurement devices
- Independently troubleshoot and repair HVAC compressors and compressor test facilities
we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles
- Associate’s Degree in HVAC (or related technical discipline) and at least 5-years of relevant HVAC or compressor work experience is required; OR at least 7-years of relevant HVAC or compressor experience is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
- EPA Type Universal Certification or willingness to become certified.
