Lake Campus Lifeguard​/Facility

All staff are required to hold current Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certifications by the first day of work.

• Attentive supervision of lap swimmers in the water and on the pool deck
• Maintain a clear pool deck
• Enforce all rules posted in the pool
• Open and close the pool at the beginning and end of shifts
• Respond to emergencies

• Ensure a safe environment at the beach and the swim area of Lake Campus
• Set up/break down equipment and specific facility areas daily, including but not limited to: cleaning restrooms, removing trash and recycling, maintaining lifeguard equipment such as a chair, tubes, backboard, and first aid supplies, raking the beach, and beach games
• Maintain coverage at the gatehouse as needed at the front of the facility during Day Camp at the Lake weekdays and for outside groups on weekends
• Enforce all rules posted at Lake Campus
• Respond to emergencies

• Current Lifeguarding and CPR/First Aid/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certification
• Ability to work a flexible schedule of approximately 30 hours per week - lifeguards collectively cover 7 days per week
• Available May 30-August 16
