Key Responsibilities
Estimating
- Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to prepare basic cost estimates.
- Request and organize quotes from vendors and subcontractors.
- Assist in preparing proposals, bid packages, and supporting documents.
- Track bid deadlines and maintain estimating files.
- Manage general office tasks such as answering phones, scheduling, filing, and ordering supplies.
- Support project managers with documentation, reports, and data entry.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records.
- Assist with invoicing, timesheets, and basic bookkeeping tasks (as needed).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and technical documents.
- Good communication skills with vendors, clients, and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt as the company grows.
- Experience in construction, engineering, or estimating is helpful but not required.
