Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM;
Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail mall environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the mall, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support access control practices, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior or unauthorized presence.
• Assist with de-escalation efforts, provide directions and general assistance to the public, and support crowd management during busy shopping periods and/or special events.

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
