Cosmetic Reconditioning Associate

As a Cosmetic Reconditioning Associate at Car Max, you restore pre-owned vehicles to our high cosmetic standards so customers enjoy a like-new experience. You'll inspect vehicles, perform exterior and interior detailing, buffing, polishing, and minor touch-ups, while following defined processes and safety guidelines. Working in our Automotive department, you'll partner with technicians and sales teams to prioritize inventory. Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming vehicles and identify cosmetic defects
• Perform exterior washing, buffing, polishing, and minor paint touch-ups
• Clean and recondition interiors, including vacuuming and stain removal
• Apply dressings, protectants, and finishing products to enhance appearance
• Follow standardized Car
• Max reconditioning processes and quality standards
• Use reconditioning tools and chemicals safely and correctly
• Document completed work in Car
• Max systems
• Collaborate with technicians and sales teams to prioritize vehicles
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies
