Opportunity Information:

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a BE/BC General Surgeon to join our dynamic team in Davis, CA.

Key Workflow Details

• Call:
  Each surgeon takes approximately 6 8 call shifts per month.
• Clinical Scope:
  General Surgery with comfort in colorectal cases. Robotics experience preferred or willingness to be trained.
• Surgical Volume: 20 30 operative cases per month, with approximately 3 4 half day clinics per week.
• Endoscopy:
  Endoscopy is optional.
• Support Model:
  No dedicated clinic APC; first assist support in the OR is provided.
• OR Access:
  Surgeons receive block time based on the standard allocation model at Sutter Davis Hospital.
• No trauma designation; no trauma coverage.

• Board Certified/Eligible in General Surgery by ABMS/appropriate board
• Strong commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and team-based practice
• 2 years of experience (preferred)
• Valid medical licensure in the State of California prior to starting
• Federal Unrestricted DEA
