Temporary positions are anticipated for lecturers in Landscape and Environmental Design throughout the academic year. Courses that may be available include the following (subject to change):
- LED 3 - Sustainable Development:
Theory & Practice - LED 21 - Landscape & Environmental Design Representation I
- LED 140 - Green Building, Design, & Materials
- LED 170 - Site Planning & Design Studio
- LED 171 - Urban Design & Planning Studio
- LED 182 - Advanced Landscape Architecture Studio I
- LED 184 - Capstone Landscape Architecture Studio
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach one or more undergraduate studio and/or lecture courses in the Landscape and/or Sustainable Environmental Design majors. Teaching may also involve field trips, exhibitions, special projects and guest speakers. Candidates may be offered one to four courses for the year depending on programmatic need and candidate's availability.
- Appropriate professional degree (minimum requirement: accredited Bachelor's in Landscape Architecture, Master’s (MLA) or Ph.D.; Ph.D. is preferred).
- Evidence of teaching excellence or potential for excellence.
- A developing record of scholarly or professional achievement in an area of expertise related to a subject area described in this announcement.
- Curriculum Vitae – most recently updated.
- Reprints or other examples of scholarly or professional attainments.
- List of courses of interest.
- Teaching evaluations – preferred (optional).
- Cover letter – optional.
- Authorization to Release Information form – required for all applicants.
Reference requirements: 3-5 letters of reference required.
