Lecturer - Agricultural & Resource Economics

Position Overview

The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California, Davis invites applications for lecturer positions to teach courses in its undergraduate Managerial Economics major during the  academic year. Compensation and the duration of the appointment will depend on the number of courses assigned and the number of units per course. Salary range is approximately $70,977 - $98,249.

Teach one or more undergraduate courses in the Managerial Economics major. Duties include full responsibility for course preparation and presentation, grading of exams, holding office hours outside of class, and supervising teaching assistants or readers if assigned.

• Basic qualifications:
  
  Evidence of teaching excellence and expertise in the subject matter area; a post-baccalaureate degree in the relevant subject matter area or equivalent advanced coursework and professional expertise at time of appointment.
• Preferred qualifications:
  
  University level teaching experience highly desired.
