Salary range: $79,887 – $153,069 (reasonable estimate)
Position OverviewThe Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Davis seeks a dynamic lecturer to teach graduate courses in Marketing, Communications, Business Development, and Business Analytics. The role is part‑time and renewable, with the appointment contingent on teaching excellence and departmental needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and teach courses that address industry trends, leadership, networking, and professional growth for MBA students.
- Prepare course materials, assignments, exams, and grading rubrics.
- Deliver engaging, inclusive lectures with practical exercises and hands‑on projects.
- Hold office hours outside of class to support student learning.
- Advisory duties: advise students on career strategies within the program.

- Master’s degree in a relevant field or 10+ years of related professional experience.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching or a strong record of educational effectiveness.
- Experience designing and delivering graduate‑level courses.

Once sufficient quarters of service are accumulated, a lecturer may be reviewed for a Continuing Lecturer position.
