The Department of Statistics at the University of California, Davis seeks temporary instructors to teach courses in Statistics and Data Science at the lower division, upper division or graduate level in the  academic year.

Positions are contingent on funding and pending administrative approval. Applicants should have a Ph.D. or equivalent in Statistics or a related field. Salary is based on ability and experience. Submit a Curriculum Vitae and Statement of Teaching. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis for future temporary openings, but for first consideration for the 2026-27 academic year, please submit your application by May 21, 2026.

Basic qualifications (required at time of application):

• Ph.D. in statistics or a related field and prior experience teaching statistics (preferably at the college/university level).
