Position Overview
Lecturer positions in the Department of Psychology for the academic year.
Responsibilities- Teach lower division general psychology and research methods courses, or upper‑division courses in developmental psychology, psychobiology, social‑personality, psychological disorders, or perception‑cognition.
- Maintain regularly scheduled office hours: at least two hours per week to provide student consultations outside of the classroom.
Fall Quarter 2026:
September 21 – December 11, 2026;
Winter Quarter 2027:
January 4 – March 19, 2027;
Spring Quarter 2027:
March 25 – June 10, 2027.
- Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field (required).
- Prior college or university teaching experience with documented teaching excellence.
- Experience with remote testing and instructional technology.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Recent Ph.D. or current graduate student with strong ties to the UC Davis Psychology program.
- Experience or demonstrated capability in remote instruction and use of instructional technology.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
