Job Summary

The UC Davis Redwood SEED (Supported Education to Elevate Diversity) Scholars Program is a four-year residential, inclusive college program for students with intellectual disabilities. The program leads to validated skill credentials to support scholars’ future employment, providing access to program‑specific and university‑wide classes, inclusive residential options, on‑campus student experiences and supports, and internship and competitive integrated employment opportunities.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training
• At least 3 years of experience developing and implementing inclusive college programs with a residential component
• At least 5 years of experience with project management
• Knowledge and experience of best practices in the design and implementation of programming for adult students with intellectual disabilities
• Effective leadership skills, including supervising and developing staff and the ability to motivate others
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to handle difficult, sensitive and/or confidential issues with diverse groups of individuals
• Knowledge of UC Davis and UC Davis Health policies and procedures

• Prior experience involving student conduct and discipline review within a program or environment serving individuals with intellectual disability
• Experience in strategic planning
• Experience with direct education and support for young adults with intellectual disabilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in support of program delivery and operations; excellent organizational and prioritization skills to carry out assignments efficiently and timely
