Salary range: $109,500 – $128,200. Off‑scale salaries may be offered to secure highly competitive candidates.

Position: Assistant Professor (tenure track), Mediated Interpersonal Communication.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in interpersonal communication and related topics.
- Conduct a theoretically driven research program in technologically mediated interpersonal communication.
- Employ empirical methods consistent with the department’s quantitative behavior science orientation, complementing behavioral, biological, or computational strengths.
- Secure extramural research funding and contribute to the department’s scholarly output.
Qualifications:
- Basic qualification (required): Ph.D. in Communication or a related discipline completed before the first day of instruction.
- Preferred qualifications: Demonstrated teaching success and experience conducting grant‑supported research.
