Assistant STUNT Coach; COACH AST

Job Summary

Under the general direction of the STUNT head coach, assist in all aspects of an NCAA Division I STUNT program, including student recruitment, scheduling, team travel, scouting opponents, practice planning, administration of summer camps and clinics, and ensuring full compliance with NCAA and university rules and regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training with a college‑level program.
• High School OR Collegiate coaching OR playing experience in the sport of STUNT.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; knowledge of the rules and strategies of STUNT, including teaching techniques, game routines, format, procedures, coaching strategies, and safety measures necessary for UC Davis student/athlete competition.
• Ability to interact effectively and establish cooperative working relationships with UC Davis student/athletes, coaching colleagues, department staff, parents, boosters, media, and officials.

• Ability to learn the complex policies and procedures regarding academic eligibility of UC Davis student/athletes, including UC Davis and National Collegiate Athletic Association policies.

The University of California, Davis sponsors 25 sports for men and women and is a member of NCAA Division I. A majority of intercollegiate sports compete in the Mountain West Conference with STUNT competing in the MPSF.
