Salary is commensurate with education, qualifications, and experience and a reasonable estimate for this position is $73,17 to $80,664 based on a full-time 100% appointment.
Assignment of classes, hours of instruction, and office hours are at the discretion of the department. Classes are held Monday-Friday, normally between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. This appointment is renewable contingent on department teaching needs and demonstration of excellence in teaching.
Shared office space, access to the campus library, copier, and computer facilities will be provided. This appointment is renewable contingent on program teaching needs and funding.
PhD in hand at the time of appointment; expertise in a relevant subfield of nineteenth-century cultural history and excellence in teaching cultural history and literatures.
