American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in California, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience for a 13-week night shift contract.

• 6-bed adult medical/surgical ICU setting
• Patient-to-nurse ratio of 2:1
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Floating may be required to the ED and Medical Surgical/Telemetry departments based on census and staffing needs
• May be scheduled on day shifts as needed
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Candidates who previously worked at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the assignment
• Local candidates are accepted if residing within 50 miles of the facility
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 2 years of ICU experience is required

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — all must be issued by AHA or American Red Cross and in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the last year required for consideration
• 7-year work history verification required for all candidates
