- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,170–$2,290

Schedule:
Variable shifts that may include 1:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m., 4:00 p.m.–4:00 a.m., and/or 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. - Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:4
- Orientation: 40 hours

Job Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Recent Epic electronic health record documentation experience
- Experience caring for neonates, infants, pediatric patients, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
- Strong patient assessment, prioritization, triage, and emergency response skills
- Ability to work variable 12-hour shifts and meet the weekend rotation requirement
- Provide safe, timely, and compassionate nursing care to patients presenting with emergent and urgent conditions
- Perform triage, focused assessments, ongoing reassessments, and patient monitoring
- Initiate and maintain IV access, administer medications, manage infusions, and provide blood product administration as indicated
- Care for patients requiring ventilatory support, BiPAP/CPAP, continuous sedation, arterial line management, and central line care
- Recognize and respond to dysrhythmias, stroke symptoms, seizures, respiratory conditions, trauma, burns, behavioral health concerns, and other acute presentations
- Support procedural sedation, emergency interventions, and care of critically ill patients
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, reassessments, and outcomes in Epic
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, social services, rapid response teams, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
- Promote patient safety, infection prevention, clear communication, and compassionate care throughout the emergency visit
