Part Time Healthcare Patrol Officer

This is a driving position.

You must have a valid BSIS Security Guard License.

You must be at least 21 years old.

You must have a valid driver's license and a 3-year clean driving record.

You must be willing to undergo a background check and a health and vaccination screening.

Pal American Security, a leader in the Protective & Security industry, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Healthcare Security Officer to join our team. As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing top‑note security services to hospital personnel, vendors, patients, and visitors. This position offers the opportunity to learn valuable skills in de‑escalation, incident reporting, and emergency response.

• Screen and direct visitors, enforce hospital guidelines, and issue passes
• Conduct patrols to detect safety hazards and unauthorized individuals
• Maintain accurate documentation and prepare incident reports
• Respond to emergencies and calls for service with professionalism
• Escort personnel, control visitor access, and assist with patient transfers

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in law enforcement, military police, or security
• Ability to lift and drag 50 pounds
• Proficiency in MS Word and basic computer knowledge
  
  Valid government‑issued  security officer/guard license

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
• Basic computer knowledge and technical skills

• Demonstrate professionalism and sensitivity in all interactions
• Promote teamwork and adhere to security policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient/client rights
