Security, Security Officer

Overview

We are seeking security personnel who will serve as the face of our building. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to visitors while ensuring the safety of the premises. This role is expected to be courteous and professional at all times. Thursday, Friday and Saturday night availability is required. Must have or be willing to obtain Guard Card (required).

Starting pay for hires with current Guard Card is $20.

• Checking customer IDs to verify age and/or to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Greet and welcome all guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Monitor the entry and exit of guests
• Ensure the safety of the premises by identifying and addressing any issues
• Provide assistance to guests as needed
• Report any suspicious activity
• Ensure that all fire safety protocols are followed
• Keep the premises clean and tidy

• Previous experience in a customer service-related role preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of safety and security protocols
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
• Able to de-escalate a situation
