Position: Tech Ed/Woodwork Teacher Required
Enhance student learning at Robert Service School in Dawson City, Yukon as a Tech Ed/Woodwork Teacher for grades 8-12. This part-time, temporary position invites candidates with a passion for technology education to apply.

• Teach Tech Ed and Woodwork curriculum effectively

• Foster respect for Yukon First Nations culture

• Adapt learning experiences for all student abilities

• Collaborate with staff to promote educational initiatives

• Implement practical applications of classroom management

Requirements:

• Education degree or equivalent in Technology Education

• Preferred qualification:
Journey person certification in woodwork trades

• Teaching experience with First Nations students is an asset

• Knowledge of rural education challenges

• Willingness to complete required certifications
