Duration: 12-Month Contract (W2) with Possible Extensions

Position Summary

We are seeking a hands‑on Test Lab Technician / Validation Technician to support testing and validation activities for advanced electronic and automation products used in heavy equipment and industrial applications. This role will focus on executing environmental and vibration testing, configuring laboratory equipment, maintaining test documentation, and supporting product validation efforts throughout the development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a test lab environment, strong electronics troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with validation processes and test execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute environmental, vibration, and reliability testing according to established test plans and procedures.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain laboratory test equipment and infrastructure.
  • Perform testing using digital multimeters (DMMs), oscilloscopes, power supplies, and related electronic test equipment.
  • Support execution of Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) activities.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain test data, reports, and documentation.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and traceability of test results.
  • Track testing activities, issues, and progress using workflow management tools.
  • Collaborate with engineering and validation teams to support product development and qualification efforts.
  • Assist with troubleshooting test setups, equipment, and product-related issues.
  • Support continuous improvement of laboratory processes and testing procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience working in a test laboratory, validation, or engineering support environment.
  • Hands‑on experience using electronic test equipment including:
  • Digital Multimeters (DMMs)
  • Power Supplies
  • Experience executing test plans and validation procedures.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with environmental chambers and reliability testing equipment.
  • Familiarity with Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) processes.
  • Knowledge of industry testing standards such as MIL-STD-810, SAE J1939, or similar.
  • Experience with data acquisition systems.
  • Electronics assembly, wiring, and soldering experience.
  • Exposure to workflow management tools such as Jira.
  • Laboratory-based testing environment.
  • Collaborative engineering and product development setting.
  • Opportunity to support advanced electronic and automation technologies.
  • Occasional travel (up to 10%).
