VDI Platform Engineer

Next Gen Federal Systems, LLC is an innovative technology and professional services provider specializing in advanced software solutions and comprehensive mission and business support services. We are looking for VDI Platform Engineer candidates to work in support of onsite customer at Wright Patterson AFB.

• Proficient inVDI Platform Engineering & Testing
• Build andmaintaingold images, manage multi-session host pools, configureFSLogixprofile containers, and implement cost-saving auto-scaling rules.
• Package and deploy applications, integrate Active Directory/AWS Directory Services, administer
  
  WorkSpacespools, and configure streaming protocols (WSP/PCoIP).
• Provision andoptimizeinstant clones, manage virtualization storage layers, configure Horizon Connection Servers, and orchestrate hybrid extensions.
• Testing &and establish
  
  User Feedback Loops, gather performance metrics (latency, logon times, peripheral compatibility), and refine virtual desktop templates based on structured user feedback.

• CompTIA Security+
• BS in Information Technology or closely related field

• US Citizenship Required
• Active TS/SCI clearance held by the Do Drequired

• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect orSys Ops Administrator
• VMware Certified Professional - Desktop and Mobility (VCP-DTM) orOmnissa
  
  Horizon credentials

• Experience configuring and operating 10
  
  ZiG Manager or equivalent thin-client deployment consoles.
• Strong technical communication skills, with experience drafting standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical design blueprints, and system whitepapers.
• Documented experience executing STIG checklists and supporting CTO/ATO documentation packages in highly regulated enterprise environments.
