Job Overview

Industrial Maintenance Technician – Dayton, OH. Pay starts at $36.21/hour, shift differential included. 12-hour rotating shifts. Basic duties maintain and repair equipment to ensure safe, efficient production of beverage can ends.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot production machines and equipment.
• Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on a variety of equipment.
• Lubricate, clean, calibrate parts, and install, move, set-up and operate all types of machine tools.
• Work with Production to meet daily targets while ensuring safety protocols.
• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and industrial standards.
• Work independently and with minimal supervision.

• 3-5 years of practical hands-on experience in an industrial maintenance setting, ideally with a journeyman machine repair card.
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and indicators.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of high-speed presses, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated material handling.
• Basic math skills and ability to read manufacturing blueprints.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds routinely, up to 50 pounds occasionally, and lift up to 10 pounds regularly.
• Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule; must pass physical, drug test, and background check.
• Manufacturing and technology classes preferred.

Stand, walk, use hands to handle tools and parts, climb or balance, and lift or move up to 10-50 pounds as described. Requires good vision—close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
