Clinical Nurse- Perioperative Services

Job Overview

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care in the perioperative services department at Dayton Children's Main Campus. The RN works full time (40 hours per week) on day shift, rotating between the main and south campuses. This role requires on‑call duties and the ability to reach the main campus within 30 minutes.

• Deliver nursing care following the standards of care established by the American Nurses Association and the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote optimal health outcomes for patients and families.
• Conduct detailed assessments and provide nursing care tailored to patient/family needs and the hospital mission.
• Create a patient‑ and family‑centered environment and act as a change agent to adapt to rapidly changing census and service demands.

• Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Registered Nursing license in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification.
• Commitment to achieve a Bachelor of Science in Nursing within five years of hire.

Full time, 40 hours per week, day shift. On‑call requirements. Must be able to reach the main campus within 30 minutes.
