This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sign Installer located in the Dayton Metropolitan Area. The Sign Installer will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining a variety of signage, including channel lettering, monument signs, and vinyl graphics. Daily tasks include preparing and handling materials, mounting signs, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and collaborating with team members to complete projects on schedule.
Successful candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights when required. The role may also include traveling to client locations and performing site assessments to guarantee proper sign placement and functionality.
- Experience in use of tools, and equipment such as drills, lifts and ladders.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, and technical instructions.
- Strong understanding of measurements, layouts, and assembly techniques.
- Physical capability to lift and carry heavy materials, work at heights, stand for long periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure precise installation for visually appealing results.
- Knowledge of safety guidelines and regulations for electrical and non-electrical sign installations.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate on projects with colleagues
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification or related experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to travel to job sites within the Dayton Metropolitan Area.
