Position: Avionics Technician - 2+ years of experience - High Priority Multi-Year Defense Program

We are seeking experienced Avionics Technicians to support a long term, large scale Department of Defense Aircraft Modernization Modification program. This role involves the installation, integration, modification, troubleshooting, testing and repair of complex avionics systems on mission critical aircraft.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform avionics installations and modifications.
  • Terminate, crimp and connect wires.
  • Conduct ops checks, troubleshooting and ring outs.
  • Read and interpret schematics, diagrams and modification drawings.
SKILLS &

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • 2+ years of experience working as an avionics technician or aircraft electrician
  • Ability to understand and interpret basic applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
  • Ability to route wires per technical drawings.
  • Advanced skills with avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering, and crimping techniques.
  • Preferred:
    Familiarity with FCC and FCC GROL
  • Basic understanding of spectrometer, oscilloscope, and/or pitot static equipment Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an US security clearance, veterans encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment 10-year Federal Criminal Background Check, standard FAA DOT drug test, and basic health physical.
