Electrical Drafter

States Manufacturing Corporation is seeking an Electrical Drafter to produce accurate electrical drawings for custom power distribution equipment and control panels. Based on engineering concepts and customer specifications, you'll create and update schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and bills of material using CAD tools. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, safe, and clearly documented.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using CAD software
• Translate engineering concepts and customer specifications into manufacturable electrical drawings
• Develop and maintain bills of material and drawing documentation for each project
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to resolve design issues
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback, change orders, and field updates
• Apply relevant electrical and safety standards to drafting work
• Support fabrication and assembly teams with clear, accurate drawings and documentation
• Participate in continuous improvement of drafting standards, templates, and processes
