Position Overview
We are seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor for our Ehouse line. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, project planning, employee supervision, and training. Extensive knowledge with sheet metal fabrication is preferred. Ability to work in a team environment providing coordination and support from the fabrication release, assembly, wiring, testing, and shipment of completed products.
This is a full‑time position. Typical working hours will be Monday – Friday with hours ranging from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overtime will be available and/or mandatory at management’s discretion.
Shift Hours2:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. Monday – Thursday
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Schedule and manage assigned projects to production floor locations and personnel.
- Review project requirements for design accuracy, purchased goods, assembly and fabrication requirements, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Conduct design reviews and coordination of projects with plant manager, engineering, and sales.
- Coordinate cross‑departmental jobs for plant productivity and prioritization.
- Complete and facilitate design modifications, redlines, and troubleshooting with production personnel and engineers.
- Review incoming purchased and produced goods to the assembly bays for accuracy and acceptability.
- Review completed projects for conformance with specifications, quality, and closeout requirements prior to shipping coordination.
- Interview, onboard, train, and review direct reports.
- Participate in and lead company process improvements.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory or production role.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Experience with an ERP system.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to pass background and drug testing prior to employment.
- Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish daily tasks.
- Superior problem‑solving, project‑management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to sit, bend, or stand for extended periods of time.
