Brazer Operator
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Brazer Operator for a manufacturing company in Dayton, MN. In this role, you'll help fabricate and assemble refrigeration and piping components used in commercial and industrial HVAC/R applications. Braze, solder, swage, flare, and thread piping to meet system design requirements
Join refrigeration and piping components according to blueprints, work orders, and layout specifications
Prepare pipe layouts using blueprints, schematics, and instructions
Install system components including valves, strainers, receivers, oil separators, coils, and line sets
Perform pressure testing and leak detection on newly installed piping systems
Safely operate cutting tools, threading machines, torches, and brazing equipment
Inspect completed work for quality, code compliance, and proper workmanship
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and piping diagrams
Knowledge of HVAC/R piping systems and installation practices
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and brazing equipment safely
Ability to perform repetitive hand movements and work with hands overhead as needed
Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds occasionally and perform physical job duties throughout the shift
Ability to comply with OSHA guidelines, safety policies, and refrigerant handling regulations
