- Job Description

As a Compo under on the 2nd shift, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving and measuring ingredients, mixing them, and ensuring compliance with all quality standards. You will handle a variety of substances, including liquids and powders, and will be tasked with maintaining precise documentation throughout the compounding process.

Responsibilities

* Retrieve and accurately measure ingredients using scales.

* Mix various ingredients and identify solids that need melting using hot plates.

* Identify ingredients requiring dilution, dilute them accordingly, and record raw materials usage.

* Verify the weight and contents of raw materials to maintain quality standards.

* Conduct in-process batch inspections and document all process events.

* Process liquid, powders, homogenizing, and spray dry methods of compounding.

* Follow standard batch instructions to accurately weigh dyes and other substances.

* Check for consistency in batches and measure the viscosity of mixtures.

* Take samples of batches and submit them to the laboratory for testing.

* Follow food safety guidelines and accurately document completed work.

* Wear a uniform and proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $58000.00/yr.
