Warehouse Worker Immediate Hire & Start

This role supports daily warehouse operations by performing shipping and receiving activities, stocking and organizing inventory, and accurately processing orders using RF scanning equipment. You will work as part of a fast-paced team to ensure products move efficiently through the facility while maintaining a safe and organized work area.
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading materials and verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Stock shelves and maintain organized storage areas to ensure products are easy to locate and access.
- Sort packages and organize items according to established procedures and location systems.
- Pick orders accurately and efficiently based on pick lists or RF scanner instructions.
- Pack boxes and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring items are properly labeled, packaged, and secured.
- Use an RF scanner or RF scan gun to scan, label, and mark products and inventory locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items in and out and reporting discrepancies.
- Handle materials safely using manual pallet jacks and other approved material handling equipment.
- Support warehouse production activities by assisting with loading, unloading, and staging products.
- Follow all safety procedures while working in narrow aisles with forklifts and hand carts operating nearby.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to support efficient and safe operations.
- Adhere to all facility rules, including policies regarding electronics and dress code.
Essential Skills
- 0 to 6 months of related warehouse or general labor experience.
- Experience with general warehouse labor such as packing, picking, and stocking.
- Ability to perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading materials.
- Proficiency using RF scanners or RF scan guns for scanning, labeling, and inventory tracking.
- Experience with order picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to operate a manual pallet jack for material handling.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with active equipment such as forklifts and hand carts.
- Strong attention to detail for scanning, labeling, marking, and inventory accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $19.75/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
