Staff Accountant

* Our client, a GROWING company is seeking an experienced Accountant. This role will be responsible for preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements, maintaining accurate general ledger records, assisting with audits, and serving as a strategic advisor.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review monthly financial statements for multiple entities

- Maintain and reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts

- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting

- Assist clients and auditors during annual audits and financial reviews

- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support client decision-making

- Serve as a strategic business advisor, offering recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency

- Maintain accounting records in accordance with GAAP and company standards

- Utilize Quick Books and other accounting tools

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, Associate's degree required

- 4+ years of general accounting experience

- Experience with Quick Books online REQUIRED

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey ideas effectively

- Experience preparing financial statements and performing account reconciliations

- Ability to manage multiple deadlines

- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team setting.
