A growing Dayton-based company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting and finance team. • Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger activity
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Analyze account activity and provide explanations for variances

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–4 years of accounting experience
• Understanding of GAAP and general accounting practices
• Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
• Strong Excel skills and experience working within an ERP or accounting system
