Salary Range: $80,000–$95,000

A growing Dayton-area organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting and finance team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key accounting processes, contribute to financial reporting, and partner with leadership on initiatives that support continued business growth.

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
• Analyze financial results and investigate account variances
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Support annual audits and compliance requirements
• Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Assist with special projects and management reporting requests

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with general ledger accounting and month-end close
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
