DRT is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Clerk to join our team in Kettering, Ohio. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees across our organization. The ideal candidate is dependable, analytical, and committed to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality while delivering exceptional internal customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Process employee payroll information accurately and on schedule.
- Review and verify timecards, attendance records, and payroll-related data.
- Enter payroll information into payroll systems and maintain employee records.
- Assist with payroll audits and identify discrepancies for resolution.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, direct deposits, and timekeeping.
- Maintain payroll documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with recordkeeping requirements.
- Support payroll tax reporting and other administrative payroll functions.
- Collaborate with Human Resources, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy.
- High school diploma or GED required;
Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred. - 1+ year of payroll, accounting, administrative, or data entry experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with payroll systems and timekeeping software is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
