Responsibilities:
- Create and issue customer invoices promptly while verifying billing accuracy before release.
- Review open accounts regularly, identify past-due balances, and communicate with customers to secure payment.
- Record incoming payments, apply credits correctly, and update account activity within financial systems.
- Research billing questions and resolve payment discrepancies by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain organized documentation of transactions, collection efforts, and account status updates.
- Prepare receivables aging information and assist with collection activities aimed at reducing delinquent balances.
- Partner with accounting, sales, and customer support teams to address account-related concerns efficiently.
- Contribute to month-end accounts receivable close tasks and provide supporting records for audit requests.
- Follow established accounting procedures, internal controls, and company policies in all receivables activities. Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, cash application, or general accounting work.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation.
- Experience using accounting software and strong working ability in Microsoft Excel.
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail when handling financial data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively in a fast-paced business environment.
