Accounting Manager

We're partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its finance leadership team. This is a highly visible role that offers the opportunity to oversee core accounting operations, support strategic initiatives, and drive process improvements across multiple business units.

• Lead the month-end and year-end close process
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Perform account reconciliations, financial analysis, and variance reporting
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Partner with operations leadership to provide financial insights and decision support
• Support ERP, reporting, and accounting automation initiatives
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Mentor and develop accounting staff while promoting operational excellence

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF, financial modeling)
• Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence/reporting tools
• Proven leadership, analytical, and process improvement skills
