Bookkeeper/Accountant – On-Site in Downtown Dayton

A well-established historic organization in downtown Dayton is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations in our office
. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a steady workflow, a professional environment, and being part of a mission-driven team.
This is an on-site position only; remote work is not available.

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports
• Process payroll and maintain employee records
• Track budgets, expenses, and grant-related financial activity
• Prepare documents for audits and board review
• Support leadership with financial data and analysis

• Experience in bookkeeping or accounting required
• Proficiency with accounting software (Quick Books preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
• Comfortable working in a small office environment

• Part-time
