Administrative Management
The Site Lead will support the Naval Medical Research Unit Dayton (NAMRU‑D) Administrative Support Program by providing day‑to‑day team leadership, task coordination, quality oversight, and customer‑facing communication for administrative support services across the command. NAMRU‑D conducts research in aerospace medicine and environmental health to enhance warfighter readiness. The position is based onsite at Naval Medical Research Unit Dayton (NAMRU‑D), Wright‑Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
Responsibilities- Lead onsite contractor personnel and coordinate daily priorities across administrative, records, training, financial, IT, support agreement, environmental, BMET, and NAMRL support functions.
- Delegate tasks, set deadlines, monitor workload, and ensure timely completion of command support requirements.
- Serve as the contractor's onsite point of coordination with Government leadership and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for performance status, staffing coverage, and issue resolution.
- Ensure team performance consistently meets or exceeds customer satisfaction benchmarks, performance standards, and quality expectations.
- Support monthly and annual reporting by validating labor‑hour inputs, issue status, accomplishments, upcoming objectives, and qualification/certification updates.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of DoD/DoN correspondence, records management, filing systems, directives, and administrative programs to guide team output and quality.
- Maintain professional communication with command leadership and support quick‑turn administrative taskers with clarity, focus, and discretion.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role or team management position.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience within military medical research and development activities or military administrative support activities.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a field related to MEDIG, Records Management, Forms Management, and Directives and Correspondence Management, preferably within the Department of the Navy.
- Comprehensive knowledge of DoD correspondence, including the DoN Correspondence Manual, Standard Subject Identification Codes, and OPNAV Administrative Manual.
- Comprehensive knowledge of DoD Records Management, including SECNAV M-5210.2 and SECNAVINST 5216.5.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, desktop computers, printers, scanners, facsimile, and standard office equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational ability, sound judgment, and ability to work independently.
- Must qualify for CAC issuance and IT access and comply with DoD, DoN, NAMRU‑D, cybersecurity, and OPSEC requirements.
