Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Program Manager/Executive Administrator providing support to the Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) Division located at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. C3BM is tasked with delivering an integrated Department of the Air Force (DAF) Battle Network that provides resilient decision advantage and enables the USAF, USSF, Joint, and Coalition Force to win against the pacing challenge.

C3BM supports execution in many focus areas, including Architecture and Systems Engineering (ASE), the Operational Response Team (ORT), and multiple mission integration teams such as Air, Maritime, and acquisitions for the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) and Space.

The DAF PEO C3BM is responsible for technically and programmatically integrating the DAF’s larger system‑of‑systems architecture needed to deliver an integrated Command and Control (C2) core function for the DAF, Joint, and Coalition forces, by teaming with all other DAF PEOs as needed.

Qualifications / Skills
  • Must maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a DoD setting.
  • Defense Travel System (DTS) proficiency.
  • Microsoft Outlook calendar management and scheduling.
  • SharePoint administration and document management.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Meeting coordination, action item tracking, and executive‑level administrative support.
  • Experience supporting DoD program office operations.
  • Self‑starter, able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing requirements in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with senior military officers, government civilians, and contractor personnel.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure leadership is kept informed of all issues of interest that relate to the mission of the directorate.
  • Monitor progress toward the accomplishment of various taskings and initiatives.
  • Provide support by supplying information and background for the preparation of program events.
  • Draft documents for the approval and signature of leadership.
  • Disseminate program policy and specific initiative guidance for members of the organization.
  • Coordinate, document, monitor, and support a variety of meetings and conferences, including scheduling and set‑up of physical and virtual meetings and supporting office staff and external participants.
  • Prepare background information and invite required meeting participants, ensuring documentation of the meetings is filed in accordance with organizational policy.
  • Document attendance logs, minutes, and/or action items with corresponding action officers.
  • Maintain scheduling documents and requirements for video and online conferencing set‑up and execution, including maintenance logs on the equipment and corresponding instructions.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, papers, and briefings in accordance with applicable policies and templates.
  • Maintain appointment calendars and conference room schedules.
  • Answer telephones, forward messages, and provide responses to routine queries.
  • Assist with coordination, consolidation, analysis, distribution, and monitoring of action items, suspense’s, and responses.
  • Provide inputs and recommendations regarding administrative and office management processes and procedures.
  • Assist with preparation of and updates to program office file management documents.
  • Prepare agendas, reports, and briefings for staff meetings.
  • Assist Government with management of organization’s workflow.
  • Assist with travel planning, travel arrangements, and execution in accordance with the Defense Travel Administrator's Manual utilizing the Defense Travel System.
