The Role. The Executive Liaison is a strategic partner to the Head of School and Chair of the Board of Trustees in supporting administrative operations, leadership priorities. The Executive Liaison has significant responsibility and autonomy to lead and manage these areas with input and guidance from the Head of School and Board Chair, in coordination with the Leadership Team. The Executive Liaison focuses on supporting the Head of School, Board of Trustees and facilitating opportunities for constituents to enjoy membership in the MVS community, and in turn, supports the organizational goals, and enhances the school culture and image, with alignment to the strategic plan.

Primary Responsibilities Executive Liaison Duties (60% of position, about 24 hours per week):
Provide administrative support for the Head of School, such as calendar management, scheduling meetings with internal and external constituents, reviewing weekly priorities, and assisting with preparation prior to meetings and events;
Provide support for the Board Chair, Board Committees, and Trustees. Build and implement systems and processes to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and organization;
Complete special projects for the Head of School in support of institutional priorities;
Serve as a member of the Leadership Team and support meeting and retreat preparations, such as contributing to the agenda, preparing materials, note-taking, and meeting follow-up;
Manage the internal and external Major Dates Calendar in collaboration with the Head of School;
Support the Head of School and the Board Chair in the organization, creation, and execution of the School's Strategic Plan;
Support the metrics that guide Strategic Plan initiatives and ensure we are meeting our goals;
Create a board dashboard and serve as the main point of contact for the people in charge of Strategic Plan initiatives;
Assist with tracking expenses in the Head of School budget;
Serve as administrative liaison for the ODE, OAIS, NAIS, and ISACS; Serve and support as a member of the Crisis Management Team. ex.) execution of drills, management of meetings, etc. Support the Board Chair with the following duties:
Provide administrative support Assist with tracking expenses in the Board of Trustees budget Attend and support Board of Trustees meetings, including reserving meeting room(s), coordinating necessary technology, and catering Prepare and distribute meeting materials Record and distribute meeting minutes Maintain Board records Partner with the Governance Chair to support Governance Committee activities and Board succession planning Assist with new Trustee orientation Create and manage Board meeting calendars Schedule Annual Board self-assessment surveys Support Board Committees in organizing, executing,…
