The Site Coordinator is a relationship builder who forges partnerships that align community
resources to benefit the school, students, families, and the neighborhood. The site coordinator builds relationships with many people within and outside of the school. The
site coordinator works closely with the Principals and is part of the school’s Building Leadership team. The site coordinator engages faculty, staff, students, and families. Reaching out to the community, the site coordinator is the liaison for neighborhood residents, associations,
non-profits, businesses, religious organizations, and other potential partners.
The site coordinator forges partnerships to bring added resources such as supplies, funds, programs, volunteers and comprehensive services into the school. The site coordinator manages these contributions and helps to align the community’s resources for a greater collective impact.
With these added resources, schools have more support, students experience more success,
families are more engaged, and neighborhoods grow stronger. The site coordinator builds the
relationships and forges the partnerships that make this possible.
