Inside Sales​/Buyer

Noble Tool, a growing precision machine shop in Dayton, Ohio, is seeking a motivated Inside Sales / Buyer to own the quote-to-ship process—coordinate quotes, entering and tracking orders, purchasing materials, and facilitating on‑time shipments to customers. This full‑time role combines inside sales, tactical purchasing, and office coordination in a collaborative environment.

• Manage and grow ‘house’ accounts through regular communication, follow‑up, and exceptional service.
• Provide back office support to the existing Business Development Manager for ‘growth’ accounts
• Reconnect with former customers to uncover new opportunities and rebuild relationships.
• Coordinate quotes, job updates, and delivery details with estimating and production teams.
• Issue purchase orders for materials and outside services, confirm pricing and accuracy, and track deliveries.
• Maintain organized job and purchasing records in the ERP system.
• Ensure purchasing documentation meets ISO 9001 quality requirements.
• Support light office tasks, including shipping paperwork and vendor coordination.

• Experience in inside sales, customer service, or purchasing (manufacturing background preferred).
• Excellent communication and follow‑up skills with a friendly, proactive approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Full‑time, onsite Monday–Friday in our clean, climate‑controlled Dayton office. Light shop exposure and occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs) required. You’ll work with a close‑knit team committed to precision, quality, and long‑term partnerships.
