Vestis - 1200 Webster Street - Responsibilities:
Becomes familiar with the garment numbering system (GID) and shipping schedule board;
Follows a shipping schedule and separates garments into routes for specific sort areas (first, second, or third);
Removes garments from supply rail and places on the appropriate conveyor or placard hook by route, last man numbered, or customer number;
Hangs shirts by route, then pants, before proceeding to the next batch;
Monitors garments for wrinkles and removes items not meeting quality standards such as ink stains, tears, holes, missing buttons, or loose tags
