Job Description

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Mission Technologies Division (HII-MT) is seeking a qualified candidate for Shipping and Receiving Coordinator
2. Responsible for managing and processing purchases made using the purchase card (P‑Card) to support procurement and operational needs. Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures for purchase card usage. Collaborate with the purchasing team to facilitate timely and efficient procurement of goods and services.

• Maintain accurate records of all purchase card transactions and reconcile monthly statements.
• Ensure proper documentation is obtained and filed for each purchase card transaction (invoices, receipts, etc.).
• Maintain, scan and upload packing slips and invoices.
• Verify that items and invoices are properly received and accounted for.
• Collaborate with the purchasing team to facilitate timely and efficient procurement of goods and services.

• 5+ years of experience with a High School Diploma, or 2+ years of experience with an associate’s degree.
• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Costpoint or other purchasing database systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in customer service.

May require working in an industrial environment. Generally not required to lift more than 40 lbs. May encounter extremes of temperature, pollution, humidity, noise, and other environmental factors while performing tasks.
