Overview
Contracts Manager, Senior – As a contract manager, you use your sharp negotiation tactics and organizational skills to help manage critical documents. You will be a trusted advisor on the Global Defense team, serving as a business partner with a direct line to account leadership and collaborating closely with the Defense Technology Contracts Team. Your expertise will help identify, manage, and mitigate risk throughout the acquisition life cycle.
Responsibilities- Perform a wide variety of contract administration functions, including proposal development, cost strategy, modifications, and contract compliance.
- Review and analyze solicitations for potential risks and recommended proposal strategies, ensuring compliance with requirements and pricing approach.
- Provide advice and counsel on risk issues, proposal strategies, and customer relationship management.
- Negotiate and administer contracts independently with U.S. government customers and subcontracts with large and small business contractors across a breadth of contract types.
- Negotiate teaming, non‑disclosure agreements, and organizational conflict of interest plans.
- Experience with contract pre‑proposal efforts, RFP or RFQ support, proposal support and submission, and post‑award contract administration.
- Experience working directly with industry or government procurement officials.
- Experience with different contract types, including Cost‑Plus, Fixed‑Price, Time and Materials, or Incentive Fee contracts.
- Experience reviewing terms and conditions and statements of work for risk mitigation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Experience negotiating contracts with industry partners, including non‑disclosure and teaming agreements.
- Ability to interpret federal regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
- Ability to manage multiple critical internal and external deadlines.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance (required).
- HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience with contract management, or Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience with contract management.
- Ability to collaborate with teams on topics such as intellectual property protection, organizational conflicts of interest, and sensitive data protection.
- Top Secret clearance.
- Master’s degree.
- NCMA Professional Certification such as CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM.
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $ (annualized USD).
