Huntington Ingalls Industries, Mission Technologies Division (HII-MT) seeks a qualified candidate for Shipping and Receiving Coordinator 2. The role is responsible for managing and processing purchases made using the purchase card (P-Card) to support procurement and operational needs. The coordinator ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures for purchase card usage and collaborates with the purchasing team to facilitate timely and efficient procurement of goods and services.
This position is located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) and is within commuting distance from Beavercreek, Fairborn, Dayton, and Riverside.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all purchase card transactions and reconcile monthly statements.
- Ensure proper documentation is obtained and filed for each purchase card transaction (invoices, receipts, etc.).
- Maintain, scan and upload packing slips and invoices.
- Ensure items and invoices are properly received and accounted for.
- 5+ years' experience with High School Diploma, 2+ years' experience with associate's degree
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Costpoint or other purchasing database systems.
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience in customer service
May require working in an industrial environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level. May encounter extremes of temperature, pollution, humidity, noise, and other environmental factors while collecting data, observing performance of task teams.
