What if summer camp could change everything? Nuhop is looking for a bold leader who believes it can. This position is not about maintaining what exists, it is about creating what is possible. We are seeking a Director of Summer Programs who leads with energy, vision, and deep care for people.
At the heart of this role is a summer camp experience for youth with learning differences, attention challenges, and neurodiversity. This is work rooted in belonging, dignity, and possibility. Every camper arrives with strengths and every experience is designed to help them succeed.
You will lead all aspects of summer programs including design, staff leadership, enrollment growth, and partnerships across the Midwest. You will build relationships with families, schools, and clinicians to expand access and deepen impact.
You will travel, build, and lead a culture where staff grow, campers belong, and families trust deeply in the experience.
Nuhop serves youth from its campuses in the Mohican region of Ohio and has been doing this work for over fifty years.
The ideal candidate brings experience in camp leadership or youth development and a passion for experiential learning.
