Job Purpose:
The Product Line Marketing Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth, pricing effectiveness, market positioning, & product-line strategy for the Better Tools / BIHUI product line in the U.S. This role develops the programs, tools, product strategies, & commercial direction that enable distributor success & contractor adoption. The role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Supply Chain, & suppliers to support growth while maintaining pricing discipline & margin performance.
This is a cross-functional leadership role that sets the playbook & enables execution with the sales team.
Distributor Success / Channel Sell-Through
- Define optimal product assortment & recommended sets for distributor locations.
- Analyze SKU productivity, product movement, sell-through trends, & inventory health.
- Develop structured programs to reduce slow-moving inventory, improve turns, & increase product visibility.
- Create pricing & positioning guidance for corporate buyers, branches, & store-level execution.
- Partner with internal teams to improve distributor adoption, merchandising, & product availability.
Sales Enablement / End User Growth - Partner with sales leadership to support field execution & key account initiatives.
- Develop sales tools, product positioning, competitive comparisons, training materials, & contractor-facing support content.
- Translate product strategy into practical playbooks, talking points, & programs that make it easy for sales to win.
- Participate in customer, distributor, & market-facing activities as needed to support growth.
- Maintain a clear understanding of market trends, competitive lines, product gaps, & customer needs.
- Recommend new product additions, line adjustments, product rationalization, & longer-term category direction.
- Develop & maintain product-line roadmaps tied to growth, market share, & customer adoption goals.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen ACE’s position in priority channels & customer segments as well as manage the full product lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary U.S. interface for BIHUI product-line coordination & product readiness.
- Translate global best practices, product capabilities, & supplier input into U.S. product offerings & programs.
- Identify new product opportunities, portfolio gaps, supplier capabilities, & commercialization needs.
- Lead product readiness including packaging, documentation, positioning, launch support, & competitive alignment.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain & Product Management on supplier capability, product availability, forecasting, & launch execution.
- Define go-to-market direction for the product line in partnership with the marketing team.
- Ensure campaigns, content, displays, promotions, & messaging support distributor sell-through & contractor demand.
- Provide direction for product launch content, channel programs, & influencer-related product strategy.
- Align product positioning with brand strategy, target customer needs, & distributor value propositions.
- Review performance of marketing efforts and recommend adjustments to improve adoption & pull-through.
Pricing and Margin Management
- Own pricing strategy & structure for the assigned product line in alignment with company pricing discipline.
- Lead price increases, discount frameworks, promotions, rebates, & channel-aligned pricing guidelines.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, & Product Management to protect gross margin & improve price realization.
- Proactively identify & communicate pricing risks or opportunities that may affect margin performance.

- Ability to visit warehouses, distributor locations, customer job sites, and trade shows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Product Management, Sales, or related field preferred.
